Tahoe Ski Resort Opening Dates 2024

The ski season in Lake Tahoe kicks off in November! We’ve had a few inches of snow with the Halloween storm, and another round of snow is forecast for the weekend. This could bring an additional 3 and 10 inches of snow to the area. With additional snow-making capabilities, the local resorts are ramping up for their opening dates.

Lake Tahoe has many world-class ski resorts and there are terrains to meet every skill level. All resorts will be opening prior to Thanksgiving Day, so grab your gear and head to the mountain!

If you are looking for ski and board equipment, the Annual Truckee Ski Swap is also taking place this weekend. This is a great way to find bargains on new and used equipment.
