Users who wish to receive Auto-Assign SMS notifications provide their own mobile phone number and affirmatively select a separate SMS consent checkbox.

The SMS consent checkbox is not selected by default. SMS participation is optional and is not required to use Homebase Hub.

Before providing consent, users are informed that Auto-Assign SMS messages may include task assignments, task updates, reminders, deadlines, workflow notifications, and Homebase Hub account notifications.

Users are also informed that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, they may reply STOP to unsubscribe, and they may reply HELP for assistance.

Providing a mobile phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.

Verbal SMS Consent

Auto-Assign SMS consent is obtained directly from the end user through a verbal opt-in process.

Before enrolling an end user, a Sharp Hood Group representative explains the Auto-Assign SMS program and informs the user that:

  • The messages are SMS/text messages from Auto-Assign by Sharp Hood Group
  • Messages relate to task assignments, task updates, reminders, deadlines, workflow notifications, and Homebase Hub account activity
  • Message frequency varies
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • The user may reply STOP to unsubscribe
  • The user may reply HELP for assistance
  • SMS participation is optional and is not required to use Homebase Hub

The representative then asks the end user to affirmatively confirm whether they agree to receive Auto-Assign SMS messages at the mobile number provided.

The end user must provide an affirmative response before SMS messaging is enabled.

Providing a mobile phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.

Consent is recorded by Sharp Hood Group, including information concerning the person providing consent, the mobile number, the date of consent, the consent method, and the SMS program for which consent was provided.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Homebase Hub and related services operated by Sharp Hood Real Estate Group (“Sharp Hood Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the Auto-Assign SMS notification program.

Homebase Hub is a task and workflow management platform. Auto-Assign is a Sharp Hood Group task notification program used in connection with Homebase Hub.

By creating an account or using Homebase Hub, you agree to these Terms.

Consent to receive SMS messages is governed separately as described below and is not automatically granted merely by accepting these Terms.

1. Use of Homebase Hub

Homebase Hub is designed to help authorized users organize, assign, monitor, and complete tasks and related activities.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Violate applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account or our systems
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the platform

To enroll, the user provides their mobile phone number and affirmatively selects a separate SMS consent checkbox.

The SMS checkbox is not selected by default, and consent to receive SMS messages is not required to use Homebase Hub.

Auto-Assign SMS messages may include task assignments, task updates, reminders, deadlines, workflow notifications, and Homebase Hub account notifications.

5. Other Sharp Hood Group SMS Programs

Opting in to Auto-Assign operational messages does not automatically enroll you in an unrelated marketing or promotional SMS program.

Any additional SMS program will be subject to the applicable opt-in disclosure presented when consent is requested.

We are not responsible for the availability, security, content, or independent privacy practices of third-party services.

Homebase Hub, Auto-Assign, and related software, text, graphics, branding, features, workflows, and content provided by Sharp Hood Group are owned by or licensed to Sharp Hood Group and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Sharp Hood Group intellectual property to users.

10. Availability and Changes to the Service

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of Homebase Hub or related services from time to time.

We do not guarantee that the platform or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Disclaimer

Homebase Hub and its related notification services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Although we strive to provide accurate and timely task information, reminders, and notifications, we do not guarantee that every notification will be complete, accurate, or delivered at a particular time.

Users remain responsible for monitoring their tasks, assignments, deadlines, and responsibilities.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sharp Hood Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of, or inability to use, Homebase Hub or its notification services.

This includes damages resulting from missed, delayed, incomplete, or undelivered notifications.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations of liability, so portions of this provision may not apply in all circumstances.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Homebase Hub if we reasonably believe a user has:

  • Violated these Terms
  • Created a security risk
  • Misused the service
  • Engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity

You may stop using Homebase Hub at any time.

Stopping use of Homebase Hub does not automatically revoke SMS consent where an SMS program remains active. To stop SMS messages, reply STOP to the applicable messaging program.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices, legal requirements, or messaging programs.

When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date above.

Material changes may also be communicated through Homebase Hub, our website, email, or another reasonable method.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
